90s alt-rockers Counting Crows and Matchbox 20 will team up for the “Brief History of Everything” co-headlining tour.
The tour will kick off mid-July in Spokane, Washington and hit outdoor amphitheaters across the country before wrapping up October 1st in Dallas. Counting Crows singer Adam Duritz said the following in a press release announcing the tour: “To be honest, we took a vote after last year and decided to spend every summer with Rob [Thomas, of Matchbox 20] from now on.” The enthusiastic frontman added “Can. Not. Wait.” 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of Matchbox 20’s smash album Yourself or Someone Like You, which is certified 12x platinum. Matchbox 20’s latest, North, was released in 2012 and Counting Crows released Somewhere Under Wonderland in 2014. For the full list of tour dates, Click Here. Written by Eugene
